How do we place an order?
To begin your order, please fill out the Order Form.
What is the process once my order is received?
Once we receive your order, your designated rep will be in touch with you to go over the details of your order and gain a better understanding of your specific needs. Once your invoice is paid, you will then receive a composite drawing of your buckle(s)/award(s) for approval. We will not fulfill an order until we have written approval. Once we have written approval, your order will be sent to our artists for fulfillment.
I found a buckle that I like online. Will you build me one like it?
No. At Ranahan Customs, we believe in ethical business practices. We will not duplicate another buckle company’s design. However, we can help you design something that you love even more!
Can you design something outrageous like a unicorn jumping over a rainbow with my a motif designed from an image of my daughter?
Yes. We can design just about anything you can dream up. However, extremely custom pieces can be costly. We are also a Christian company founded on Christian practices. We reserve the right to refuse a buckle design should it not align with our morals and values.
What is the turnaround time for orders?
Normal turn around time is approximately 8 weeks on smaller orders and an additional 2 weeks for larger orders. Rush orders are available for additional costs. We typically will not rush personal orders as they tend to increase the price significantly.
Another buckle company messed up my order/sent it late/etc, can you match their price?
Unfortunately, no. When we receive an order, it is looked at by multiple people and worked on by multiple departments daily. This is done to ensure accuracy and timeliness of delivery.
Do you price match?
No. Our buckles are not die cast, they are made by hand. We are not the cheapest buckles on the market, nor do we want to be known for that. Everyone has options. Those options are good. Go with what your budget allows. Budgets will not change the way we do business and what it costs us to make a buckle. Our prices are SUPER fair compared to our costs.
Does your company offer sponsorships?
No. We have western nonprofits that we partner with, we help kids, and we have a scholarship program. As a faith-based business, this is what we are called to do through experience and conviction. If you are a customer of ours year after year or if you know of a kid in need, please reach out to us. We would rather help a kid out and trust God to grow our business.
Is there an added cost for add ons or special requests?
Flexibility in Customization & Design: There are no additional charges for
changing many design elements, i.e. rope edge instead of berry edge; stars
instead of flowers; raised letters instead of banners, etc.
Additional charges only apply when:
Names or Sponsors on the front of the buckle.
Upsizing a buckle ($15)
Adding Rose Gold to a design that does not already include it ($25)
Hand engraved backs ($25)
Engraving a name on the buckle back ($15)
Custom designed buckle.
