About Us
At Ranahan Customs, every buckle, award, and custom creation tells a story that is rooted in Western heritage, family values, and handcrafted excellence.
Founded by Holly, a ranch wife, mother, and lifelong member of the rodeo and agricultural community, Ranahan Customs was built on the belief that honest work, affordable quality, and personal service should still mean something. Holly’s vision was never to create a factory. She built a workshop filled with skilled silversmiths, family support, and a passion for the Western lifestyle.

What Does ‘Ranahan’ Mean?

“Ranahan” is a term from the Old West used to describe a top hand — someone you can count on to get the job done with integrity and skill. The name is more than a brand. It’s a tribute to Holly’s great-grandfather, a Wyoming rancher whose 1908 photo became the inspiration for our logo. His legacy of grit, loyalty, and craftsmanship lives on in every piece we create.
A Family-Run Business, Built By and For the Western Community
Based in East Texas, Ranahan Customs & Awards is a family-owned and operated silversmith and award company that proudly serves rodeo families, ag programs, ranchers, and western athletes nationwide. Our sales reps aren’t just sales reps — they’re rodeo moms, ranch wives, FFA supporters, and cowhands who truly live the lifestyle.
Holly is the heart of it all. When she’s not designing awards or coordinating orders, she’s at home with her husband Brian, their daughters Kirsten (a WPRA breakaway roper and barrel racer) and Maygen (a snowboarding queen in Colorado), and a pack of loyal dogs and horses.

Why Choose Ranahan Customs?
We don’t mass-produce cookie-cutter buckles. Our handmade western trophy buckles and awards are created one at a time, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality. We don’t use thin, die-cast materials — every piece is built to last and built to honor. Because we’ve stood behind the bucking chutes. We’ve cheered in the stands. And we know: it’s never “just a buckle.”
When you work with Ranahan Customs, you’re not just buying an award. You’re investing in handcrafted tradition, custom western craftsmanship, and a team that truly gets what it takes to make it to the Finals.
Let us help you recognize your winners the way they deserve.
Meet the Team

Kirsten Riley
From 8 years of age Kirsten has been deeply rooted in western competition. From to the Pee Wee Division through Pro Rodeo, she has lived the life. She has played field and arena polo, participated in Hunter Jumper, Western Pleasure, and spent many years doing ranch work. She was also an active member of FFA in High School. Kirsten works full-time as Performance Horse Vet Tech at a well-
known and respected Equine Sports Medicine Clinic. We are excited to have Kirsten’s All-Around experience at Ranahan.

Kyra Evans
Kyra Evans brings nearly two decades of experience, creativity, and customer-first energy to her role as Director of Marketing and Sales for Showtime Awards, a division of Ranahan Customs & Awards. A Louisville, Kentucky native—born just a mile from Churchill Downs—Kyra moved to California at age 10 and grew up in the Bay Area. A chance visit to rural Northern California led to marriage, a five-acre farm, and life as a proud “Barn Mom,” cheering on her horse-loving daughter at reining shows and FFA events (often with a batch of her famous oatmeal cookies in hand).
Originally hired to lead marketing for Showtime after meeting the founder at a horse show, Kyra—an experienced journalist with a deep appreciation for agriculture—stepped into sales just as the company launched its line of custom trophy buckles. Eighteen years later, she continues to work closely with customers across the country to design personalized, show-stopping awards that capture the spirit of every event.

Erin De Tar Keirnes

Hailing from Snyder, Colorado, Erin Keirnes is a wife, mother, and passionate advocate for agriculture and rodeo. Erin’s roots for agriculture and the Western way of life run six-generations deep and she is proud to be raising her kids up in a rodeo family with her husband, Kolten.
